The Class Folder (v5) is a mobile assistant designed to support teachers in their daily classroom tasks. Developed by an educator for fellow educators, this application aims to streamline various administrative and organizational responsibilities.

Features include:

• Management of student data, subjects, assessments, competencies, homework, absences, materials, participation, timetables, lesson planning, student notes, and seating charts (among other functions). The software is optimized to allow quick data entry during lessons and easy overviewing. Entries can be displayed in lists, exported as PDF documents, or transferred to the desktop versions for Windows or MacOS. The app also functions fully offline without desktop integration.
• The program provides reminders for upcoming student birthdays, pending homework submissions, unexcused absences, and other notifications. It assists with managing checklists (e.g., collecting theater money, presentations), student notes, grade scales, and lesson planning. It supports various grading systems, semester grades, and input as trend or decimal grades.
• If used across multiple devices (iOS, MacOS, Windows), student data—including photos and media—can be exchanged via cloud services or directly over Wi-Fi.
• To protect sensitive data, the application offers password protection against unauthorized access. Support for TouchID and FaceID ensures convenient login. When the device is secured with a password, data encryption during import/export is possible (please read additional privacy notices within the app).

Users can participate in the ongoing development of the program via the developer's website by sharing suggestions or obtaining desktop versions for Windows. The Mac desktop version is available on the Mac App Store.
